In their first game at the 2012 USCAA World Series, Penn State Beaver prevailed in a marathon contest by a score of 15-13. The game lasted over 3 hours overall as Beaver defeated the host team, Robert Morris Springfield to advance in the tournament.

Butler, Pa- The Greater Allegheny baseball team entered the day just a win away from returning to the PSUAC Championship for the second straight season. However, after falling 4-1 in the winner's bracket semi-final game to Penn State Mont Alto, GA was then eliminated by Penn State Beaver after being beaten 8-1.

Baseball Overcomes Early Deficit, Advances With 6-3 Win Over Penn College

Butler, Pa- A game that started about as bad as it possibly could, would end at the complete opposite end of the spectrum, as the Greater Allegheny baseball team overcame a 3-0 deficit in the first by scoring six unanswered runs against #2 seeded Penn College. GA would win the game 6-3 in 8 innings, and advanced to the second round of the winner's bracket in the PSUAC Baseball Championship.

Fayette Caps Season with Comeback Win at Bethany College

BETHANY, WV - Penn State Fayette baseball rallied for five runs in the final three innings on Tuesday afternoon to erase a 4-0 deficit and claim a 5-4 win at Bethany College in a non-conference game. The win gives Fayette its first win against an NCAA Division III member this year, and is the first in three years for the Roaring Lions.

DUNMORE, Pa. - Junior Cody Ward (Connellsville, Pa.) picked up his first win on the mound and hit a lead-off home run in the first game of a Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference doubleheader at Penn State Scranton on Sunday afternoon, as the Roaring Lions swept the series with wins of 5-4 and 13-7.
