In the USCAA National Tournament, Beaver ended their season as they were eliminated by Southern Virginia University by a score of 13-2.
The SVU offense was too much to overcome for Beaver as the Knights hit three home runs including two grand slams. The Beaver offense was unable to get going in the game as they only collected 6 hits. Markus Allen (New Castle, Union High School) had two hits for Beaver and Mike Karas (Imperial, West Allegheny) scored two runs. Both runs for Beaver were produced by Zack DelTurco (Monaca, Monaca) who had two RBI sacrifice flies.
The loss ends the season for Beaver as their overall record finishes at 26-19.
