Schuylkill earns split with Beaver.

PSU Beaver scored 5 runs in the top of the seventh to steal the opener 9-6. Senior Tia Lyons was 3-for-3 with two runs scored and an rbi, while Kelsey Kenney had 2 single and an rbi.

Game 2 turn out to be a pitchers duel between Schuylkill's Bryanna Snowell and Beaver's Korey Freyermuth. After Freyermuth first inning homerun Schuylkill refocused and shut down Beaver's offense over the final 6 innings. In the bottom of the first Schuylkill would take the lead for good on a single by Jena Leffler who scored on a triple by freshman Kirsten Wentzel. After a walk to Lyons, Wentzel scored on Lyon's attempted steal of second base. The score held and Schuylkill earn 2-1 victory and series split.
