Monaca, PA- Penn State Beaver women's volleyball lose against Penn State Fayette after an intense game.

In the first set Beaver played slow but were able to put points on the board. Fayette started very strong but that didn't stop Beaver who came to compete.

Miranda Pfeiffer (Freedom, PA/Freedom) and Mykel Colbert (Beaver Falls, PA/Beaver Falls) were also essential to the teams defense in terms of digs.

Coach BJ Bertges said "I am optimistic based on how we played today for the rest of the season." The team continues to gain momentum and play with chemistry. Beaver now has a record of now 5-3 in the conference.
