Pittsburgh, PA- Penn State Beaver women's volleyball falls to La Roche.

In the first set Beaver played weak and could barely score their seven points. Their passing was poor throughout the match and they lacked hustle in the first set. La Roche was the first to 25 winning the first set.

The second and third set weren't any better for Beaver, they only scored 11 in the second and 16 in the third. The players on the team who did put up an effort are Natalie Gamble (McKees Rocks, PA/Sto-Rox) with 3 spikes and 2 kills, Kayona Ward (Beaver Falls, PA/Beaver Falls) with 3 spikes and 1 kill, and Amanda Palombo (Aliquippa, PA/Quigley Catholic) with 3 spikes and 1 kill also. Even with these players putting in effort, Beaver still lost 3-0.

Hopefully Beaver can pull themselves together and achieve a win when they face off against Penn State Mont Alto and Penn State York on September 28th.
