Volleyball Sweeps Pair of Matches at York

York, Pa. – The Roaring Lions began their eastern swing in fine fashion, taking a pair of 3-0 matches in PSUAC Women's Volleyball play Saturday at York.

The Roaring Lions opened the day with a tough fought 3-0 win over host York, by scores of 25-21, 25-19 and 25-10. Fayette rounded out the day with a 3-00 sweep of Penn State Mont Alto. Fayette captured the match by scores of 25-12, 25-7, 25-13.

With the wins, Fayette improves to 10-5 overall, and 4-0 in PSUAC play. The Roaring Lions wind up their eastern trip with a pair of matches on Sunday at Penn State Schuylkill. Fayette will face the host team at noon followed by a 1:30 p.m. matchup with Penn State Brandywine.
