Beaver suffers defeat to DuBois

DuBois, PA---- The Penn State Beaver Women's Volleyball team traveled to Penn State DuBois on Wednesday night and came home with the loss as they lost in three sets at the hands of the Lions of DuBois. DuBois took the sets by scores of 25-20, 25-10 and 25-23. The match tonight opened up conference play for the Lady Lions of Beaver and their conference record now stands at 0-1. For Beaver, Kayona Ward (Beaver Falls, Beaver Falls) had 6 kills while Amanda Palumbo (Aliquippa, Quigley Catholic) had 6 digs and Gina Richman (Edinburg, Union) had 15 assists.

Beaver will be back to the court on Saturday morning as they host Penn State Greater Allegheny with the game schedule to start at 12 noon.
