Penn State Volleyball falls to DuBois and Scranton in a Tri-Match

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre (0-4) volleyball team lost a heartbreaking two games against Penn State DuBois and Penn State Worthington Scranton, Saturday afternoon in the Athletic and Recreation Building. The lions lost to Dubois, 3-2 (24-26, 25-20, 18-25, 25-20, 12-15) and again to Scranton, 3-2 (26-24, 11-25, 22-25, 25-20, 5-15). Against PSU-Dubois, Senior Abby Collins led the way with 13 service points and added seven digs. Sophomore Sarah Konopki had five kills and Freshman Olivia Lewis had 13 assists. Against PSU-Scranton, Senior Abby Collins kept totaling up those service points with 12 along with four aces. Junior Tiffany Denny-Rochester had 11 service points and added three blocks. Penn State Wilkes-Barre will return to action on Wednesday when they host Penn College for a 7 p.m. match.
