Pittsburgh, PA--- The Penn State Beaver Women's Volleyball team got the La Roche Tournament underway on Friday night as they played against Carlow University. Beaver dropped the first three sets of the match as they fell to Carlow on Friday night. Beaver was led by Miranda Pfeiffer (Freedom, Freedom) who had 6 digs. Daina Owens (Farrell, Farrell) had 2 kills for Beaver and Gina Richman had 37 assists.
The loss puts Beaver's overall record at 2-4. Beaver will play again tomorrow at La Roche College against Penn State Fayette and the host team La Roche. Games start 9 against Fayette and they will play La Roche at 11:30. Check back here tomorrow for continuing coverage.
