Women’s Tennis: Lapointe Wins as Lady Wildcats Lose to PSU Mont Alto 3-2
WILLIAMSPORT Pa. – Despite a 6-0, 6-1 victory at third singles from sophomore Taylor Lapointe (Pelham, N.H.), the Pennsylvania College of Technology women's tennis team lost 3-2 to Penn State Mont Alto Sunday. Mont Alto forfeited second doubles giving Penn College the advantage going into singles play, but the one-two punch of Annette Deusch and Kathiegong Williams proved too much to overcome. With the loss, the Lady Wildcats now drop to 2-6 overall and 1-2 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.
Next up, the Lady Wildcats travel across town to take on Lycoming College for a 3:30 p.m. match on Wednesday, Oct. 3.
