The 2013-14 edition of the Penn State Schuylkill Lady Lions opened there season at home with 63-52 loss to Central Penn College. Schuylkill dressing six, relied heavily on the strong inside play of Molly Carduff. Carduff led all scorer's with 34 point while pulling 17 rebounds. Junior Amina Whyte, one of two returning players off the 2012-13 squad, added 12 points.
The Lady Lions hung tough most of the game pulling within one point of Central Penn with 13 minutes remaining in game. The Lady Knights pulled away as Schuylkill's foul trouble mounted increasing the final margin to eleven, 63-52.
