Penn College Women's Basketball team falls to Apprentice School

At home on Saturday against the Newport News, Va., Apprentice School, the Pennsylvania College of Technology women's basketball team dropped a 91-52 decision. Kierstin Steer, of South Williamsport, led the Wildcats with 26 points as the team dropped to 0-2 overall.

"They're a D-III team with 16 girls but my girls didn't back down at all. We played an extremely physical game and in the long run that's going to help us," Penn College coach Matt Wilt said.
