2011 PSUAC Tennis Championship Results
In the 2011 PSUAC Tennis Championships, Penn State Brandywine dominated the weekend. Tennis Championships were played at University Park's Sarni Tennis Center in State College, Pa. Brandywine took first place in Men's #1, #2 and #3 singles along with 1st place in the Men's #1 and #2 doubles. The women also played strong with second place finishes in the Women's # 1 and # 2 singles and in the Women's #1 doubles. Brandywine was led by Steve James, Max Berry and Kevin Kelleher who all had two first place finishes. Hazleton swept the women's side of the board with wins by Kristina Zwolenik and Alexandra Scudder in the Women's Singles and Doubles. Zwolenik and Scudder finished the season undefeated. Zwolenik was undefeated for two years in a row and is the returning "Player of the Year" in the PSUAC Conference. Penn State Brandywine took the overall title with 78 points and in second place was Pennsylvania College of Technology with 55 points. It was a great weekend for PSUAC Tennis and all the teams battled hard to represent their conference and their schools.
