Conference Setback for GA Men's Soccer

McKeesport, Pa. - The Penn State Greater Allegheny men's soccer team hosted Penn College for a conference match-up Sunday afternoon.

Greater Allegheny's defensive efforts halted the Wildcats to only one goal in the first half. Penn College went on to achieve four goals out of 19 shots taken in the second half, taking GA to a 5-0 defeat.

Both freshman Bengaly Diane (New Jersey/James J. Ferris) and sophomore Ghana Phuyel (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) managed three shots on goal, all being rapped up by PC goalie David Munn. Freshman goalkeeper Michael Anderson (Herminie, Pa./Yough) got bombarded with 24 shots on goal, stopping 19.

Penn State Greater Allegheny will host Westmoreland County Community College at Turner Valley on October 16th. Game-time is set for 4 p.m.
