York, PA- Penn State Beaver's men soccer struggles and falls to Penn State York.
At the open of the match, it didn't look good for Beaver, when at the 5:00 mark York scored the first goal of the period. The goal was left unanswered by Beaver and two minutes later York scored their second goal. Beaver's goalie Matt Fetch (Aliquippa, PA/Hopewell) had kept York from scoring for close to 20 minutes when York scored their third goal closing out the first half.
In the second half, York couldn't capitalize on their 6 shots on goal. Beaver got one shot on goal and it ended in a goal by Dylan Winters (Beaver Falls, PA/Blackhawk) at the 82:00 mark. Unfortunately, Beaver could not keep any momentum throughout the whole match and lost, 3-1.
Hopefully Beaver can pull it together and get a win at their next match against Mt. Aloysius, on Monday, Sept 16.
