Freshman Sterling Weikel scored to give the Wildcats a 2-0 lead

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Despite goals from sophomore Chris Brennan (New Hope) and Sterling Weikel (Dewart), the Pennsylvania College of Technology tied 2-2 with Penn State Brandywine in conference action Saturday. Brennan and Weikel scored back-to-back goals in the 24th and 27th minute, respectively, before the Lions made the comeback with a goal in the 36th followed by a successful penalty kick in the opening minutes of the second..

Penn College (1-0-1, 0-0-1 PSUAC) outshot Brandywine 36-10 but had only 11 on goal.

Freshman goalkeeper Aaron Volz (West Chester) made five saves on the afternoon. Freshman Noah Roseth (Mifflinburg) notched an assist on Brennan's goal.

The Wildcats will next travel to Albright College for a 7 p.m. match on Wednesday, Sept. 7.
