Zinman, Lehigh Valley Capture 2019 PSUAC Golf Championship

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Penn State Lehigh Valley's Brian Zinman carded a 1-over par 73 on Tuesday, capturing individual medalist honors in the rain-shortened 2019 PSUAC Golf Championship. Zinman's one-day total on the Penn State Blue Course gave him a one-shot win over Penn State Hazleton's Jeremy Harper and Penn State New Kensington's Collin McCune.

Zinman's teammates weren't far behind, as Anthony Sawarynski shot 75 and Kevin Wagner added a 79 as Lehigh Valley ran away with the team title with a 308, 15 shots clear of runner-up Hazleton. Lehigh Valley's total grabbed fourth-place finish in the USCAA Golf National Championship, which was held concurrently with the PSUAC Golf Championship.

The usual two-day event was shortened by heavy rains Sunday night that made the course nearly unplayable, with continued rain throughout the day on Monday.
