Matt Haile
Penn College
Matt Haile has been named the 2012 PSUAC Golf Coach of the Year. He is the coach at Penn College. During the regular season, Penn College won the conference title. At the PSUAC championships, Penn College was edged out by Penn State Mont Alto but they finished strong coming in second place.
Haile has been the Head coach at Penn College since 2009. Before becoming a coach, Haile was a Penn College student-athlete. In 2003, he was the PCAA Golf Champion and named Most Valuable Player. When Haile was a senior, Penn College moved to the PSUAC where he came in second in the conference. In 2010, Penn College honored him with the Outstanding Varsity Athletic Alumni Award.
Haile is also the Network Specialist at Penn College.
