Beaver Men's Basketball continue winning streak

Lemont Furnace, PA- Penn State Beaver men's basketball wins against Penn State Fayette to continue their winning streak in the PSUAC.

Beaver took the lead early on in the game and fought to keep it throughout the first half. Beaver quickly distanced themselves 20 points and Fayette could not compete. The score by the end of the half was 53-30, Beaver. In the first half, Beaver's Chris Weathers (New Brighton, PA / New Brighton) and Rob Agurs (Pittsburgh, PA / Penn Hills) led the team in points, 19 and 10 respectively. The defense was led by Nick Miller (Beaver Falls, PA / Beaver Falls) who had 4 rebounds and 3 steals.

In the second half, Fayette attempted to catch up but Beaver continued to dominate the court. Beaver kept their lead big and Ignacio Alleyne (Stafford, VA / Colonial Forge) scored at the 0:02 mark to finish the score at 91-68, Beaver. Agurs again led the team with 8 points along with Miller and Tiere Phillips (Pittsburgh, PA / Penn Hills) who each had 7 points.

Beaver now has a conference record of 5-0, with and overall record of 8-1. They face off against Clarion University next on Sunday, December 15th.
