Pennsylvania College of Technology men's basketball team lost 84-41 to Arcadia University

GLENSIDE, Pa. - Freshman Scott Fenton (Dickson City) tied his personal high of 24 points to lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology men's basketball team as it lost 84-41 to Arcadia University Monday night. The Wildcats were down several starters due to injury and fell behind in the first half 45-13. Freshman Colton Acorn (Wellsboro) added 12 points and a team-leading nine rebounds in the loss that sees the team fall to 1-14 overall.

The Wildcats opened on a 4-0 run, two each from Fenton and Acorn. They held the lead for the first four minutes of the game before Arcadia tied it and then went on a run. Penn College struggled offensively shooting only 14.8 percent (4-27) from the field.

The second half was much stronger for the team as it more than doubled its offensive effort from the first. Penn College scored 28 points and held the Knights to only 39.

As a team, the Wildcats notched 37 rebounds and improved to 27.5 percent (14-51) from the field.

Next up, Penn College travels to Penn State Scranton for an 8 p.m. game on Wednesday, Jan. 18.
