Catcher Tyler Cunningham Rocks PSU York With 13 RBI's

Three hours after the baseball team left for York early Wednesday morning, Freshman catcher Tyler Cunningham rocked the diamond with 13 RBIs on Penn State Yorks turf. On fire, Cunningham went 3 for 5 with a double, a home run and seven RBI's in the first game. Together with pitcher Ryan Janesko's four hits and right fielder Ryan Grande's three hits and a double our Lions topped York 22-6 for their first season win.

We split the doubleheader with York falling one shy in the second game 12-11 with Cunningham again stunning the field as he hit a grand slam, added two hits and six RBI's.

Ryan Janesko was the winning pitcher for Penn State in the first game.The boys will take on PSU Wilkes Barre tomorrow at 12 noon at Wilkes Barre and Sunday they will face PSU Brandywine at home for a double header.  Come out on Sunday and enjoy the nice weather approaching while cheering on your Lions!
