MBB has close game with Saint Vincent

Latrobe, PA- Men's basketball has a close game with Saint Vincent.

Fayette played a tight game with Saint Vincent throughout last night's competition. Despite being down 13 at the half, Fayette matched Saint Vincent's scoring in the second half 38-38. However, due to the first half, Fayette lost 88-75 as the end result of the game. Saint Vincent is currently undefeated on the season with a 7-0 record overall and are 4-0 in the PAC Conference. Despite the loss, Fayette shot extremely well against the Bearcats, with a 51.6% in field goals made and 88.9% in free throws made. Torian Jenkins led for Fayette with 34 points and 11 rebounds. Matt Forbes finished the game with a season high of 17 points and 8 rebounds. 

Fayette will shift their focus back to PSUAC Conference play with some must needed wins on Friday and Saturday against Penn State Scranton and Penn State Wilkes Barre. Both programs are on the PSUAC East side of the conference. Friday's game against Scranton will have a 8:00 P.M. tip off. Fans are encouraged to bring a non-perishable item for the campus food pantry and will recieve a PSF ornament for doing so.
