PSUAC Announces 2025 Baseball and Softball All-Conference Awards
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State University Athletic Conference has announced its 2025 Baseball and Softball All-Conference teams, recognizing nearly 100 student-athletes for their athletic achievements this spring.
For the second straight year, Penn State Schuylkill’s Emma Crisswell was named the PSUAC Softball Pitcher of the Year, an honor after a phenomenal year in the circle. Penn State Mont Alto’s own Paige Loudenslager earned Player of the Year honors after an amazing season both offensively and defensively. Rounding out the specialty award winners in softball is Penn State DuBois' Sienna Barnhart, the Rookie of the Year.
Loudenslager batted .456 on the season and led the league in hits with 47. Crisswell led the PSUAC in ERA (2.09), wins (13), and strikeouts with 140, nearly 100 more than her closest competitor. Barnhart knocked in 24 runs and was third in the league with a .435 average.
Schuylkill's Owen Zimmerman won the East Division Player of the Year after leading the entire PSUAC with a .490 batting average and second in RBI with 39. In the West, Penn State Shenango's Nate Evans was named Player of the Year after a strong season in the batter's box and on the mound. Evans batted .373 and hit two home runs while also picking up four wins and striking out 38 batters.
Carter Fogal of Mont Alto was the East Division Pitcher of the Year after leading the PSUAC in strikeouts with 43 and having an ERA of 3.12. His West counterpart, Penn State DuBois' Connor Cherry, had a perfect record with seven wins and an ERA of 4.71.
DuBois Isaac Tiracorda garnered West Division Rookie of the Year after batting .450 and driving in 32 runs while also stealing 10 bases. In the East, Penn State Schuylkill's Roman Cieless earned Rookie of the Year honors after batting .362 with 28 RBIs and 22 stolen bases.
The 2025 Coaches of the Year lead powerhouse programs, as DuBois' Garrett Brown takes home the baseball award and Schuylkill's Darle Cresswell and Scranton's Mar Tsakonas pick up the softball coaching honors. Brown led his team to the top seed in the PSUAC West Division, finishing 20-0 in conference and 28-7 overall. Cresswell and Tsakonas guided their teams to strong finishes in their respective divisions.
