PSUAC Announces Fall Championship Locations

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - The Penn State University Athletic Conference has officially announced all of its locations for fall championships during the fall 2024 season. The PSUAC hosts four championships and two invitationals during the fall sports season, which begins in August and ends in late October or early November. 

Golf will begin on Monday, October 14th and conclude on Tuesday the 15th at the Penn State Golf Courses in State College, Pa. The event, held concurrently on the Blue Course with the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Golf National Championship tees off at 9 a.m. each day in a shotgun start format.

Less than two weeks later, Penn State Scranton will host the PSUAC Men's & Women's Cross Country Invitational for the second straight year. The northeastern campus will host more than 50 runners on Saturday, October 26th as the PSUAC crowns individual and team champions in its two Invitationals.

The Women's Volleyball Championship will return to Rec Hall right before Halloween, with the semifinals playing out on Monday, October 28th starting at 5 p.m. The winners from those matches will stay overnight and compete in the championship match on Tuesday, October 29th at 6 p.m. in the cozy confines that are also home to the Division I department's men's and women's volleyball teams, among other champions.

The final fall championships will see the Men's and Women's Soccer Championship games played at Panzer Stadium, the University's lacrosse stadium, on Tuesday, November 5th. The full turf field will host the women's championship at 4 p.m. with the men's championship to follow at 6:30 p.m.

Team champions in volleyball and men's soccer will earn automatic berths into their respective USCAA National Championship tournaments, while golfers and cross country individuals compete in the USCAA's open events. Teams from women's soccer are eligible to participate in the USCAA National Championship if they earn an at-large bid based upon their final coaches poll.
