PSUAC Announces Fall All-Conference Teams

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State University Athletic Conference proudly announced its 2022 Fall Sports season All-Conference awards on Friday. The awards recognize outstanding accomplishments in men's and women's soccer and volleyball. More than 110 student-athletes earned recognition in the first awards dished out during the 2022-23 academic year.

Penn State Brandywine led the way with 19 honorees; Penn State Mont Alto finished second with 14 total All-Conference selections, while Penn Sate Greater Allegheny had 11 and Penn State New Kensington 10. 

Players of the Year hailed from all over the Commonwealth, as Penn State York's Jess Dunbar captured PSUAC East Volleyball Player of the Year honors. Her counterpart in the West was Penn State Fayette's Bella Buwawa, who was also named Rookie of the Year in the West Division. In women's soccer, Penn State Schuylkill's Brittney Bartasavage was named both Player and Rookie of the Year after an outstanding campaign. On the men's side, a shared award will go to New Kensington's Jordan Cooper and Brandywine's Chris Manful. 

Other Rookie's of the Year include Penn State Hazleton's Sydney Mack (East Volleyball) and New Kensington's Ethan Hutcherson (Men's Soccer). Specialty award winners included Brandywine's Laura Jezyk (East Volleyball Specialist); Mont Alto's Kylie Denlinger (West Volleyball Specialist) and Grace Banfe (Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Year); and Penn State Beaver's Osarumwense Ehigiamusoe (Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Year).

Coach of the Year went to Mont Alto's Mary Miller for the second straight year in women's soccer as they earned the top seed in the PSUAC tournament. On the men's side, New Kensington's Mark Duffield took home the top honor from his colleagues after a record breaking season. Keith Hartman won his second consecutive Coach of the Year award in volleyball after leading his team to a perfect conference record.

PSUAC All-Conference awards are selected from nominations made by the 14 PSUAC campuses. Voting is submitted by each competing campus in a particular sport and winner's are selected after the vote is finalized. See all of our PSUAC Fall All-Conference selections at the links below.
