Penn State Lehigh Valley Repeats as Golf Champions, Hazleton's Jeremy Harper Earns Medalist Honors

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State Lehigh Valley won their second straight PSUAC Golf Championship this week, beating their nearest challenger by 50 strokes in the two-day event held at the Penn State Blue Course on the University Park campus. The win was Lehigh Valley's fourth in seven years, and was helped by four players finishing in the top 10 of the PSUAC.

The event, held in conjunction with the USCAA National Golf Invitational, was held Monday and Tuesday, and saw Penn State Hazleton's Jeremy Harper take conference medalist honors a year after finishing second in the PSUAC. Harper shot rounds of 80-78 for a 158 total to win by two over Lehigh Valley's Ian Masenheimer. Day one leader Anthony Sawarynski of Lehigh Valley finished third at 161.

Lehigh Valley had four finishers earn All-Conference, which recognizes the top 10 in the conference. Penn State Brandywine and Penn State Fayette had two All-Conference members each.
