Baseball- Hitter of the Week

Penn College junior outfielder Zachary Buterbaugh is the week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for baseball as a hitter.  Batting leadoff, Buterbaugh hit .571 (8-14) with an on-base percentage of .647.  He scored 10 runs, had two doubles and one triple, while also stealing four bases.

Greater Allegheny sophomore pitcher Zach Krivda is this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for baseball as a pitcher.  In his one start, Krivda struck out six over five innings of work, while surrendering one unearned run on just three hits. 

Softball- Hitter of the Week

Penn College freshman catcher Jessica Gmerek is this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for softball as a hitter.  Through eight games, Gmerek tallied eight hits, including a double, triple, and home run.  She scored six runs, while driving in seven.

Hazleton sophomore pitcher Martina Herring is this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for softball as a pitcher.  Through four starts, Herring struck out 27 hitters through 28 innings, with three complete games.  She also surrendered just nine earned runs over her five total appearances.
