Hazleton sophomore Kayla Karchner has been named this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for softball as a pitcher.  Karchner went 2-0 with one complete game on the week, while allowing five runs and 10 hits across 10 innings of duty.  She struck out 10 opposing hitters, and picked up a victory over D-III member, Wilkes University.
