Brandywine senior setter Miranda Biondi has earned herself this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for women's volleyball as a setter. Through eleven sets in four matches this past week, Biondi has placed herself in the Penn State Brandywine recordbooks. In the 3-0 victory over Greater Allegheny, Biondi recorded her 2,000th career assist, the first ever to do so in a Brandywine jersey.
The senior averaged almost 11 assists per set through the week, as she posted an astounding 113 assists, 14 digs, ten service aces, five kills and four blocks. With her contribution, the Penn State Brandywine women's volleyball team is holding strong at 16-0 through the Penn State University Athletic Conference.
