Beaver senior Matt Sweikowski has been named this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for baseball as a pitcher. The righty threw a two-hitter through the PSUAC Baseball Championship Quarter-Final game, while giving up just one earned run against #1 seed, Penn State DuBois.
With his help, Penn State Beaver went on to earn the PSUAC Baseball Championship title and look forward to their USCAA World Series 10th seed berth.
The senior is currently tied for second in the PSUAC for total wins on the mound with five.
For his effort through the Championship series, Matt has earned himself the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Baseball Pitcher of the Week accolade. Click here to check out the full article!
