Beaver Freshman Vanessa Jackson has been named this week's PSUAC Softball Pitcher of the Week. Vanessa went 3-1 against Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) competition earning two shutout complete game victories in the 1-0 and 12-0 blanking of Mont Alto.
With an overall earned run average of 1.44 on the week, the Freshman pitched 24.1 innings while sitting an astonishing 22 batters down on strike-out.
Vanessa is owning the PSUAC standings, as the Snohomish native sits first in strike-outs with 75, second in ERA with 2.16, second in total wins with nine and third with runs batted in with 26.
