Brandywine junior Nate Forwood has been named this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for baseball as a pitcher. The righty extended his scoreless streak to ten innings with an earned pair of saves as well as a win in three appearances last week.
The junior picked up his first win of the season in game one of a double-header against Penn State Greater Allegheny, before he closed out game two with his third save on the season. As of today, Nate has not allowed an earned run in 13.1 innings on the mound this season.
Nate currently holds down first place in the PSUAC and second in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) for total saves on the bump with three.
