Hazleton sophomore Kayla Rhome has been named this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for softball as a pitcher. Through 25 innings pitched in four games, Rhome threw three complete games with an overall earned run average of 1.68.
The right-handed pitcher sat down 18 strikes through the start of the season while picking up a 7-1 victory over Delaware Valley University.
