Beaver sophomore forward Brittany Jackson has been named this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for women's basketball. Through the PSUAC semi-final match against Brandywine, Brittany posted a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds on 85.7% (6-of-7) of her shots going in from the floor. The sophomore pulled down two steals in the 84-65 BW overturn.

In the championship game, Jackson capitalized on 18 points as 50% (8-of-16) of her shots fell. With nine boards, two steals and a block, the forward played came off the bench for 24 minutes as she assisted in the 61-59 Beaver championship win.

Through a pair of games, Brittany posted 60.9% (14-of-23) of her shots from the floor and 62.5% (10-of-16) from the foul line for 38 points, 20 rebounds, four steals and a block.

The sophomore contributed to Beaver finishing their PSUAC schedule with an overall record of 18-9, 13-1 PSUAC. The women are now getting ready for the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) tournament. Beaver is set to play Maine-Augusta on March 3rd. Tip-off is set for 9:30 a.m.

Jackson is currently holding down fifth place in the PSUAC for field goal percentage with 46.6%.
