Greater Allegheny freshman forward Tiajuanna Burke has been named this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for women's basketball. Through a 2-1, 1-1 PSUAC week for the Lions, Tiajuanna recorded 54 points, 41 boards, five steals and two blocks while posting three consecutive double-doubles in her first three starts in the blue-and-white. Averaging 18 points per game and 13.7 rebounds per game, Burke shot 66.7% (16-of-24) from the free-throw line and 51.4% (19-of-37) from the floor through the week.
In the first PSUAC victory of the season for Greater Allegheny, Tiajuanna added 50% (5-of-10) from the floor while bucketing 83.3% (5-of-6) from the free-throw line while denoting 18 rebounds, 15 points and two steals to put GA over York, 63-42.
