Cassidy Lentz tossed two great starts during the first round of the PSUAC Softball playoffs. Lentz closed out game one of the weekend with a clean seventh inning to allow Hazleton to advance past Penn State Fayette and was right back in the circle to throw six strong innings in Hazleton's 7-4 win over Schuylkill in game two on Saturday. There, Lentz allowed just three earned runs on four hits in six innings of work to give Hazleton the edge. One day later, Lentz matched that effort with a complete game win against Schuylkill to send Hazleton to the PSUAC championship series. The senior allowed just two earned runs on five hits while striking out four batters in a clutch performance.
