Marissa Bruns had an exceptional week all around. The freshman batted 7-for-11 on her way to helping Penn State New Kensington to a 3-1 week. Bruns batted .636 with eight RBI and seven runs scored. She also drew six walks. From the circle, she allowed only three earned runs for a 1.75 ERA and struck out 10 in 12 innings of work, finishing the week 2-1 with a complete game included.
