Senior Spotlight: Casey Hite, Penn State Fayette

Welcome to our Senior Spotlight. In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the PSUAC had to cancel its spring sport seasons. This prevented several student-athletes from receiving a proper senior day and minimized opportunities for Player of the Week awards. In its place, we will highlight seniors from around the conference throughout the remainder of the semester. We jcontinue with Penn State Fayette softball player Casey Hite!

See more Senior Spotlight highlights on our Twitter (@psuac) and Instagram (psuacsports)!

Q&A

What has been your favorite memory while participating in athletics at your campus?

One of my favorite memories is when we won the conference division my sophomore year and Coach Miller cried.

What advice do you have for your younger teammates or recruits that are looking at coming to Penn State Fayette?

Play with 100% heart and passion all the time. Don’t ever take a practice, away trip, or even a workout for granted. You will love Fayette and you’ll never want to leave. P.S – Do not let Coach Miller run the grill at the WVU games.

Are there teammates, coaches or family members you would like to thank for having a positive impact on your playing career?

First off I would like to give all my glory to God for without him none of this would be possible. Second, I would like to thank my mom Trudy and my dad Wayne for supporting me for so long and never missing a game. My parents have enabled me to reach for any dream that I have ever had and I will be forever appreciative of that. I would also like to thank my teammates for always being there for me no matter what and pushing me to my full potential on and off the field. Lastly, I would like to thank my boyfriend Austin who pushed me everyday to be a better athlete and was always there after the tough losses. I have had so many amazing people impact me during my time here at Fayette. We are Penn State forever.
