Nikki Velez recorded the first 40-point game by a PSUAC player this season and second in Brandywine history when she poured in 41 points, one shy of a team record, in a win over Penn State Schuylkill. Velez buried nine three-pointers, also one off Brandywine's single-game record, including five in the fourth quarter when she scored Brandywine's final 18 points. Earlier in the week, Velez played all 40 minutes in a win against Lehigh Valley, scoring a game-high 22 points, to help Brandywine move back into first place in the PSUAC East Division.
