WOMEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK 11

Dariana Perez, Penn State Mont Alto

Second Year

Harris, Texas

Guard Dariana Perez helped with a good portion of the team’s productivity as it went 1-1 during the week, beating Penn State Hazleton (46-39) and dropping a tight game to Penn State Schuylkill (56-53). Perez scored 52 points during the week and added 23 rebounds and 7 steals. Penn State Mont Alto visits Penn State Wilkes Barre on Feb. 11.

MEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK 11

Jeremiah Miller, Penn State Wilkes-Barre

Fourth Year

Philadelphia, Pa.

Guard/forward Jeremiah Miller scored 32 points in a victory over Penn State Scranton, and rounded out a double-double effort with 12 rebounds — leading all scorers and rebounders in the game. Penn State Wilkes-Barre moved up to third place in the PSUAC East with the W, as the team won its third game in a row. The team’s next game comes Feb. 15 at home vs. Penn State Mont Alto, which will be matchup of the top teams is USCAA Division II.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK 11

Cashimere Ralph, Penn State Beaver

First Year

Pittsburgh, Pa.

Guard Cashimere Ralph came off the bench in two games during the week as Penn State Beaver went 1-1, and her effort in the second game, a victory over Penn State New Kensington, was the most productive of the season for her. Ralph recorded her first career double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds in just 15 minutes on the floor.

Penn State Shenango Women’s Basketball

Penn State Shenango extended its winning streak to nine overall and 10 in conference play with victories over Penn State Beaver and Penn State Greater Allegheny. The team last lost a PSUAC game on Dec. 6, 2024, and plays again Feb. 11, hosting Penn State New Kensington. The win over Penn State Beaver gave Shenango a one-game lead
