SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Emma Criswell, Penn State Schuylkill
Fourth Year
Williamstown, Pa.
Emma Criswell was dominant for Penn State Schuylkill in her five appearances this week. She earned three wins, tossing three complete games and a shutout. Criswell pitched over 25 innings and allowed just three runs, holding the opposition to a .224 batting average. The Nittany Lion struck out 29 batters and posted an outstanding 0.83 ERA and 1.26 WHIP.

SOFTBALL CO-HITTER OF THE WEEK
Kierstyn Mays, Penn State Beaver
Second Year
Sterling, Ill.
Penn State Beaver third baseman Kierstyn Mays tallied 18 hits last week, including eight for extra bases. Mays drove in 11 runs for Beaver, stole four bases and scored nine times. In 28 at-bats, Mays slugged 1.000 and had an on-base percentage of .633 while striking out just twice in eight games. This is Mays' second Softball Hitter of the Week award this season, winning the honor back on March 25.

Linda Shepard, Penn State New Kensington

Penn State New Kensington's Linda Shepard went on a tear last week. The second year infielder launched five home runs across six games to add to her conference-leading eight home runs. Shepard added 15 RBI behind a .450 batting average and impressive 1.300 slugging percentage, leading her team to a 5-1 record last week. The slugger also showed out in the field, tallying five put-outs and a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.

Owen Zimmerman earned a win and tossed a complete game against Penn State Mont Alto this week. In eight innings of work, he only allowed two runs on five hits, recording three strikeouts and a walk. He also had a 1.13 ERA and 0.75 WHIP. Zimmerman was named Hitter of the Week two times earlier this season.

Shai Moore was impressive last week for Penn State New Kensington, helping the team secure a 5-1 record over the course of the week. The first-year catcher had nine hits in 13 at-bats, driving in three runs. Moore scored four runs and had an on-base percentage approaching .700. Moore also maintained a perfect fielding percentage behind the dish.

Penn State New Kensington Softball
The Penn State New Kensington softball team dominated this past week to keep itself alive for the top seed in the PSUAC Softball playoffs. It won seven out of its nine games, capturing wins against Penn State Mont Alto and Penn State Schuylkill. The team finished off its week with a sweep over undefeated Penn State Schuylkill.
