SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Mackenzie Stake, Penn State Mont Alto
Fourth Year
Fayetteville, Pa.
In the first game of Senior Day against Penn State Hazleton, Mackenzie Stake delivered a dominant performance on the mound, striking out 10 batters over six innings while allowing just four hits and one run. With the win, the team improves to 3-0 in PSUAC play and looks to stay undefeated as it takes on Penn State Fayette on April 10.

Fourth-year pitcher/third baseman Paige Loudenslager’s dominance at the plate helped lead Penn State Mont Alto to an undefeated week against opponents Penn State Scranton and Penn State Hazleton. Loudenslager had 10 hits, leading to an impressive .625 batting average and six RBI. Looking ahead, Penn State Mont Alto will face Penn State Fayette on Thursday.

In Joshua Sullivan's lone mound appearance, he faced 24 batters and had five strikeouts in seven innings against Penn State Hazleton. He did not allow an earned run and compiled a .14 WHIP, giving up just one hit. Penn State Mont Alto won 8-0.

Owen Zimmerman had a standout performance against Penn State York this past weekend. Zimmerman went 3-for-6 with a .500 batting average, .625 on-base percentage and a 1.167 slugging percentage. He scored four runs and provided three RBI with a double and a home run. He also maintained a perfect fielding percentage as Schuylkill went 2-0. Next, Penn State Schuylkill will hit the road to play Scranton on Friday.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Isaiah Alicea, Penn State Scranton
First Year
Northampton, Pa.
Isaiah Alicea had a stellar week, catching two games for Penn State Scranton. He went 7-for-12 from the plate (.583) with three doubles and eight RBI. The freshman also picked up three walks and was hit by a pitch, making for an on-base percentage of .688. Scranton won both games this past week against Wilkes-Barre and will play Penn State Schuylkill on April 11.
TEAM OF THE WEEK
Penn State Schuylkill Baseball
The Penn State Schuylkill baseball team has won six games in a row. The team has gotten strong pitching from Brenan Adams and Tristan Baer, and productive slugging at the plate from Roman Cieless and Owen Zimmerman. The team is starting several true freshmen in a majority of its games.
