Golfer of the Week 4

Jacob Bassham, Penn State Mont Alto

Third Year

Chambersburg, Pa.

Jacob Bassham shot a 2-under 68, leading all individual golfers by three strokes and helping his Penn State Mont Alto to a one-stroke victory over Penn State Dubois for the team title at the Penn State York Invitational. It was Bassham’s best round of the season, and he was the only golfer among 38 in the field to finish under par (70) on the 6,116-yard course.

 

Rookie of the Week 4

Madison Warnack, Penn State Schuylkill

First Year

Kingston, Pa

Forward/Midfielder Madison Warnack made a strong debut, scoring two goals against Penn State Beaver and helping her team to the shutout victory. Warnack started off the season strong, scoring her first goal in a conference game against Penn State Hazleton on Sept. 9. She has scored six goals this season with two assists.
