Women's Basketball Player of the Week 3

Tajae Stevenson, Penn State Schuylkill

Fourth Year

Paterson, NJ

After having recently eclipsed the 1,000 point mark for her career, Penn State Schuylkill's Tajae Stevenson continued to impress during the young season. Stevenson averaged nearly 19 points and 11 rebounds in three games last week as her team picked up three road wins by an average margin of 20 points. Stevenson's biggest performance came in the closest of those contests, a five-point win over Penn State Shenango. In that game, Stevenson finished with 26 points and 15 rebounds to carry her team to the crossover win.

Men's Basketball Player of the Week 3

Elijah Hannon, Penn State Greater Allegheny

Second Year

Belleville, NJ

Elijah Hannon was instrumental in helping Penn State Greater Allegheny pick up its first conference win of the season. Hannon scored a team-high 20 points and pulled down an incredible 17 rebounds in his team's two-point win over Penn State Lehigh Valley. On the week, Hannon averaged nearly 17 points and 15 rebounds over three games while shooting nearly 65 percent from the field. For good measure, Hannon added an average of two assists, two steals and two blocks per game.

Rookie of the Week 13

Zay Fowlks, Penn State Scranton

First Year

Rochester, NY

Penn State Scranton's Zay Fowlks dropped a career high 32 points in his double-double performance last Tuesday in his team's PSUAC opener as Scranton defeated Schuylkill 90-73. Fowlks added 10 rebounds and two steals as he contributed heavily on the defensive end as well as shooting lights out beyond the arc. Fowlks finished the game 11-for-16 from the field, including 6-for-8 from three.

Team of the Week 13

Penn State Mont Alto Men's Basketball

As conference play gets underway, the first divisional crossover of the basketball season played out last weekend. Penn State Mont Alto's men's basketball team came out of that stretch unscathed, picking up two road wins. Back in the East Division for the first time since 2017, Mont Alto beat their old West Division counterparts once again, toppling Penn State Beaver 81-67 on Friday night before clipping Penn State Fayette 87-66. Mont Alto also picked up a divisional win on Tuesday, beating Penn State Lehigh Valley by 12 to start the season 3-0 in the PSUAC and 5-1 overall.
