John, Pang, Williamson Highlight PSUAC Players of the Week

Team of the Week 

Penn State Mont Alto Men’s Basketball 

Penn State Mont Alto men's basketball went 3-0 last week, handily beating No. 2 Penn State Wilkes-Barre, Schuylkill and Penn State Greater Allegheny. The Nittany Lions averaged 88 points per game, beating their opponents by an average of 18 points. Mont Alto looks to repeat its performance in matchups with Penn State Scranton and Penn State York this week.

 

Women’s Basketball Player of the Week 9

Fourth Year 

Warren, OH

Shar'Da Williamson averaged 21 points, 7 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 63% from the field in two victories this past weekend. She scored a team-high 24 points and added 8 rebounds and 4 steals in a 52-point win over Penn State Scranton. Williamson added another 18 points and 6 rebounds while leading Shenango to a victory over Penn State Hazleton. Penn State Shenango takes on Greater Allegheny on January 21st at 6:00 p.m.

Second Year 

Silver Spring, MD  

Jonatan Pang led his team to a 3-0 record last week, as Penn State Mont Alto won each of them by double figures. He averaged 19.3 points per game on 58.3% shooting from the floor and 61.1% from three. Penn State Mont Alto takes on Penn State Scranton tonight. 

First Year 

East Stroudsburg, PA. 

Kyle John had a solid and productive week for Penn State Lehigh Valley men’s basketball. He joined the starting lineup in a game against Penn State Schuylkill on Jan. 14 and then got his second start against Penn State York. He averaged 17.5 points per game and 6.5 rebounds in the two games.
