TEAM OF THE WEEK 10

Penn State Fayette Men's Basketball

 Penn State Fayette is on a three-game winning streak. The team took down Penn State Beaver, Penn State New Kensington and Penn State Shenango in the past week. The team went 20 for 39 in 3-pointers over the week. It next plays Feb. 4 against Penn State Greater Allegheny. 

 

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK 10

Hailee Aguinaga, Penn State Shenango

Fourth Year

Ashtabula, Ohio

Hailee Aguinaga dominated the court this week, averaging 15 points, 12.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game to lead Penn State Shenango to key victories over Penn State DuBois and Penn State Fayette. The center from Ashtabula, Ohio, delivered two monster performances, displaying both her defensive presence and scoring ability. Looking ahead, the Nittany Lions gear up to face Penn State Beaver on Feb. 4 and Penn State Greater Allegheny on Feb. 8.

MEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK 10

Dasilas Jones, Penn State Fayette 

Fifth Year 

Fairmont, W.Va.  

Dasilas Jones was Penn State Fayette’s leading scorer in their last two games against Penn State New Kensington and Penn State Shenango, accumulating a total of 61 points and 12 rebounds. In the matchup against Shenango, he scored 30 points in the first half and finished the game with a total of 40 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. He shot an impressive 63% in field goals in that game, going 12-19 from the field and 6-10 from 3-point range. The team’s next matchup is Feb. 4 against Penn State Greater Allegheny.

Landon Percinsky, Penn State Fayette

First Year

Johnstown, Pa.

Landon Percinsky averaged 12.5 points and 3 rebounds per game, while shooting 65% from three in Penn State Fayette's two men's basketball victories this week. Against Penn State Shenango, Percinsky had a productive performance off the bench, scoring 17 points, adding 4 rebounds and 4 assists in just 19 minutes. Penn State Fayette takes on Penn State Greater Alleghany on Feb. 4.
