Greater Allegheny's Huber, Hazleton's Mack Lock Down Player of the Week Awards

Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week 7

Outside hitter Sydney Mack recorded 27 kills as Penn State Hazleton went 2-0 in conference play. Mack had 56 attacks and recorded just seven attack errors. She also added four assists to her total for the season (13). Mack’s 279 kills lead the team, which returns to action Oct. 16 at Penn State York.

Women’s Volleyball Specialist of the Week 7

Olivia Huber, Penn State Greater Allegheny

Second Year

Rochester, N.Y.

Defensive specialist/setter Olivia Huber amassed 105 assists in three matches. She also totaled 30 digs and five service aces as the team went 2-1 with victories against Penn State Beaver and CCBC. The team winds down its regular season with home matches Oct. 15 and Oct. 17 against Butler County Community College and Penn State Fayette, respectively.
