Women’s Runner of the Week 5

Sarah Christy, Penn State Shenango

Greenville, Pa.

Sarah Christy completed the first 6k of her career, and did so in style, finishing second at the Penn State Fayette Invitational with a time of 27:29.6. She finished behind only teammate Faith Sullivan.

 

Men’s Runner of the Week 5

Ashton Owens, Penn State Schuylkill

Second Year

Pine Grove, Pa.

Ashton Owens recorded a season-best time and led Penn State Schuylkill’s finishers as he completed the 8k course at the Lock Haven Invitational in 29:54.3. He and the team return to action at the Highlander Invitational on Oct. 5 at Carin University.
