Brandywine Drops PSUAC Matchup At Fayette

UNIONTOWN, Pa. – The Penn State Brandywine men's basketball team was defeated 81-59 at Penn State Fayette on Saturday afternoon.

The teams were even through six minutes, but Fayette scored 10 unanswered points and never relinquished the lead. Fayette limited the Lions to 26 percent shooting during the opening half and opened up a 45-24 edge at halftime.

Brandywine trimmed the margin as close as 18 points following Jaden Kelly's (Philadelphia, Pa./GAMP) bucket with 8:00 to play; however, Fayette countered with a 10-2 run to put the game away.

Colin Hockenbrock (Wilmington, Del./St. Elizabeth) recorded a 21-point, 12-rebound double-double to pace the Lions. Kelly and Johnta Dunson (Philadelphia, Pa./Freire Charter) both tallied nine points and Kelly grabbed seven boards.

Brandywine (1-3, 1-1 PSUAC) will begin a three-game home stand on Nov. 28 against Penn State Scranton at 8:00 PM.
