HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Penn State Brandywine men's basketball team hung tough with Fairleigh Dickinson for 40 minutes, but the difference in the game came beyond the arc as the Division I Knights knocked down 19 three-pointers and defeated the Lions 107-63 Wednesday night.

Brandywine scored the first bucket of the night via Johnta Dunson's (Philadelphia, Pa./Freire Charter) layup and took a 10-9 edge through five minutes thanks to another Dunson basket.

FDU answered with three consecutive triples, beginning a 23-2 surge to take command of the game. The Knights canned 11 three-pointers during the opening half en route to holding a 53-26 edge at the break.

Brandywine hung tough throughout the second half with the Knights, outscoring FDU 30-29 during the first 12 minutes of the final period; however, FDU pulled away late to provide the final margin.
